As the creator of the Royston Method, he emphasizes dance physics, musicality, and partnership dynamics, fostering a comprehensive understanding of dance among his students. His approach has been instrumental in developing numerous top-tier dancers and instructors worldwide.

Beyond his teaching, Robert's contributions to the dance community are substantial. He has secured multiple titles, including eight U.S. Open Swing Dance Championships and six World Country Dance Championships. His accolades include inductions into the California Swing Dance Hall of Fame, the UCWDC Country Dance Hall of Fame, and the World Swing Dance Hall of Fame.

Brandi Guild is a world-renowned West Coast Swing (WCS) dancer, instructor, and choreographer, celebrated for her exceptional technical expertise and dynamic teaching style. With multiple titles in Country/Western, International 10 Dance, and West Coast Swing, Brandi’s versatility and passion have made her a global icon in the dance world.

As a sought-after educator, she has mentored top dancers and teachers worldwide, earning a reputation for her ability to break down complex techniques with clarity and precision. Brandi’s influence extends to choreography, with credits like So You Think You Can Dance, Love N’ Dancing, and performances on Good Morning America and off-Broadway.

A California Swing Dance Hall of Fame and UCWDC Hall of Fame inductee, Brandi has won seven UCWDC Masters World Titles and placed Top 5 at the U.S. Open Swing Dance Championships over 20 times. Alongside her partner, Ronnie DeBenedetta, she has shaped the global dance scene with her timeless elegance, inclusivity, and dedication.

Wee Tze Yi
With over 20 years of dance experience, Zee is a seasoned instructor, performer, and competitor in West Coast Swing (WCS), Salsa, and Bachata. Known for his versatility and musicality, Zee is a true triple threat in the dance world, having cultivated a reputation for his exceptional social dancing and dynamic teaching style. As the founder of ZiggyFeet Academy, Zee has developed his own unique methodology, which has successfully taken students from complete beginners to top-level dancers.

Zee’s approach to teaching goes beyond just technique; he believes in fostering a deep understanding of the partnering mindset, encouraging dancers to adapt to different partners and dance styles with ease. His classes are not only educational but also fun, offering a warm, approachable environment where students can grow while enjoying the process.

A highly respected figure on the global dance scene, Zee made history as the first Asian dancer to compete in the Champions division of the World Swing Dance Council (WSDC) circuit. His passion for the art form, coupled with his technical expertise, has made him a sought-after instructor across Asia and beyond. With numerous accolades under his belt, including being the first Singaporean to win the Asian leg of the World Salsa Championships, Zee continues to inspire and shape the future of social dancing worldwide.
Dalena Lee
Dalena brings a wealth of experience from diverse dance backgrounds, having trained in ballet, Chinese dance, and cheerleading before finding her true passion in partner dancing. Now a prominent figure in West Coast Swing (WCS), Salsa, and Bachata, Dalena has represented Singapore and Asia to perform, compete, judge and teach at major dance events across the world.

Known for her sexy styling, playful musicality, and flawless following technique, Dalena's ability to connect with any lead and adapt to various dance styles has made her a favorite on dance floors worldwide. Her quick spins and effortless transitions are a testament to her deep understanding of the dance, and she’s widely regarded as one of the top All-Star followers in the WCS community.

Dalena’s teaching style is as unique as her dancing. With her personalized approach, she takes the time to connect with each student, guiding them not just through technique but also through a journey of self-expression and growth. Her charisma and ability to bring out the best in her students have made her a highly sought-after instructor, with many of her students going on to become top dancers across Asia. Whether she’s leading workshops or mentoring students, her ability to inspire and bring out the best in others is what truly sets her apart as an instructor.
PJ Turner
PJ's dance journey began at age 10 with clogging, inspired by his brother’s line dancing stories. By 12, he was line dancing, and at 14, he began partner dancing, learning East Coast Swing and other dances from his future wife. PJ’s break came when he appeared on the national TV show “Club Dance,” which aired for three years and allowed his grandmother to see him dance, despite her illness. He then focused on West Coast Swing, which became his signature style.
PJ’s competitive dance career took off with his first event at Peach State in Atlanta. He later joined Team Joe, traveling across the Southeast U.S., teaching, and competing. PJ’s dedication paid off when he was crowned the NASDE tour Champion in 2012 and received several social dance awards. His partnership with Tashina Beckmann King led to multiple US Open finals and performances in the Off-Broadway show “Swango.”
In 2015, PJ transitioned to dancing full-time, a decision he cherishes. Today, he travels globally, teaching, judging, and performing, supported by his family who remains his greatest motivation. PJ’s motto, “Just make her smile,” encapsulates his approach both on and off the dance floor.
Larisa Tingle
Whether she’s competing, teaching, or performing, Champion West Coast Swing dancer Larisa Tingle always radiates her classy yet sassy style. A four-time US Open Classic division finalist, Larisa has also placed in the top 5 of many Champion J&J and Strictly competitions. Her expertise and passion for dance, music, and the technical side of WCS allows her to educate and inspire everywhere she goes.
When she’s not traveling, Larisa can be found in San Diego, CA where she owns and operates Starlight Dance Studio. At Starlight she cultivates community by providing a space for amazing instructors and a home for local dancers.
Chuck Brown
For over 25 years, Chuck Brown has passionately dedicated himself to West Coast Swing, excelling as a Chief Judge, master teacher, Champion dancer, and community builder. As the founder and co-event director of The After Party (TAP), his profound impact on the dance community is undeniable.

With a global influence, Chuck has taught and performed in over 30 countries, pioneering the growth of West Coast Swing. His extensive dance background enriches his unique teaching methods, helping dancers discover their true potential. His transformative ‘Out-of-the-Box’ retreats, “Emotion in Motion” master classes, and EyePower Judges Training have inspired and trained countless individuals.

Chuck seamlessly blends foundational technique, musicality, and modern flair, mentoring many successful dancers and inspiring all who have the privilege to learn from him.
Lauren Jones
Lauren Jones got into West Coast Swing back in 2011 thanks to her wonderful mum but moved to Vietnam shortly after. 5 years later, she scooted over to Singapore, fell in love with WCS again as well as the community there and social danced her heart out before making her way through Europe in 2019.

Although she has dabbled in salsa/bachata and smooth jive on a social level, it is WCS that has her hooked. Whilst achieving All-Star level in 2022, it is the social floor that is her happy place; she loves the balance between connecting with a partner on the floor and the freedom of self-expression, all to a wide range of music genres.

She is over the moon to be working with the inspiring dancers of the community and her aim is to leave each person she dances with smiling, be it at her or with her!
Raisa Khismatullina
Raisa's journey in dance is a testament to passion, dedication, and talent. With 8 years of professional education as a teacher and choreographer, Raisa has been sharing her expertise since 2011, teaching Classical choreography, Jazz, Contemporary, Hustle/Discofox, and West Coast Swing.
In 2016, Raisa discovered West Coast Swing and quickly made her mark as one of the fastest dancer to advance to the WCS All-Star division.
Her competitive spirit and exceptional skill have led her to win and constantly place in major competitions across Europe, Russia, Korea, and Singapore.
Raisa loves to teach the deep and micro details of technique, emphasizing how to create a beautiful connection, move naturally, and use tools for improvisation. Her meticulous approach to teaching provides immense value to her students, helping them develop a profound understanding of dance mechanics and express themselves confidently on the dance floor.
Jacques-Olivier Hache
Meet JO, one of the top West Coast Swing leaders in the Asia-Pacific. He moved from France to Singapore 10 years ago and has been hooked on WCS ever since. Competing in the all-star division, JO is known for his dedication to perfecting technique and creating an amazing moments on the dance floor.
Marianne Low
Marianne's passion for dancing spans nearly four decades, during which she has amassed extensive experience across a variety of genres. Her journey began at the age of five with classical ballet, laying a strong foundation in dance. For over a decade, she competed in artistic gymnastics, showcasing her versatility and athleticism.
Her first foray into partner dancing came with Lindy Hop, eventually leading her to join the Jitterbugs Lindy Hop performance crew, where she was coached by the legendary Lim Sing Yuen. At the age of 19, Marianne was awarded a dance scholarship, which allowed her to train under Lionel Araya in Los Angeles. During this period, she dedicated over 12 hours a week to mastering street styles, including locking, popping, funk, jazz, and b-boying. She also had the privilege of being trained by Robert Vinson, a choreographer and dancer known for his work with Janet Jackson on the Velvet Rope Tour.
Marianne's competitive spirit shone through in several notable achievements. She was part of a foursome that competed in Overdrive, a five-part elimination hip-hop competition, where they were named first runners-up by Wade Robson, a renowned U.S. choreographer and judge on "So You Think You Can Dance." Additionally, she was a member of the sextet “Platinum,” which became one of the five grand finalists in the reality dance competition "The Dance Floor" after five months of intense competition.
Barry Goh
Barry's dance journey spans over 25 incredible years, rooted in the elegant disciplines of ballet, jazz, and tap. His partner dancing odyssey began in 2004 with Salsa, where he dazzled audiences and students alike with Salsa Fanatico and Grupo Invicta. His talent and dedication even earned him a spot at the prestigious World Salsa Championships.
December 2010 marked a transformative moment when Barry was introduced to West Coast Swing by Zee. Initially captivated by the intricate pattern structure and creative potential of WCS, Barry soon found a profound passion that eclipsed his previous dance endeavors, leading him to fully immerse himself in this dynamic dance form.
Today, Barry shines in the All-Star division and shares his expertise at ZiggyFeet. His enthusiasm for routines has taken him to international stages, where he has showcased his talent and earned numerous co-choreography accolades.
Barry's love for Creativity and Connection infuses his dancing with a unique spark. He revels in exploring the organic possibilities within each dance, eager to connect and share his joy with everyone on the social dance floor.
Wee Tze Ming
Ming's dance journey began in university with Ballroom dancing, but it was Salsa that truly ignited his passion. He drove an hour each weekend to dance Salsa, and upon returning to Singapore, joined Salseroes with Attitude, performing with them for several years. During a performance at the Sydney Salsa Congress, Ming witnessed the mesmerizing WCS routine "Gravity" by Jordan & Tatiana. Inspired by their emotive performance, Ming decided to dive into West Coast Swing and has never looked back.
In pursuit of his passion, Ming has travelled all over the globe, dancing and competing at numerous WCS events in the USA, Europe, Australia, and of course Asia.
Ming loves the fun, interactive dynamic of WCS, cherishing the unique and exciting moments that come from connecting with his partner. As an instructor, he thrives on seeing his students level up while ensuring they have a blast in the process. Edwin Aw
Since August 2017, Edwin has transformed from a beginner with no dance background into an exceptional West Coast Swing dancer. His journey, fueled by determination, practice, and hard work, proves that anyone can achieve greatness in dance.
Now a fitness coach, Edwin combines his physical expertise and motivational energy to create a unique dance teaching style. His impressive accolades include Mister Singapore 2015, Mister Congeniality 2015 (International), and 1st place in the Nabba Sports Model Physique Competition 2016.
Edwin’s social dancing receives rave reviews for his encouraging and attentive nature, infectious smile, and ability to inspire his partners. His classes are known for being fun and humorous, making every learning experience enjoyable.

Althea's lifelong passion for dance spans ballet, jazz, hip hop, and contemporary styles. Nearly a decade ago, she discovered West Coast Swing and was captivated by its unique connection and fluidity. Her journey from mastering multiple dance forms to becoming a West Coast Swing enthusiast showcases her dedication and love for dance.
Althea brings a vibrant and infectious energy to every dance session, making her classes fun and memorable. Her playful personality and deep understanding of dance create a supportive and inspiring environment where participants can grow and connect.
